We create a 3D CAD image of your model on SolidWorks to achieve precision in the final product. In vacuum casting, a silicone rubber mould is prepared, which helps to form the model. All of the model’s required details need to be replicated in the mould first. After the silicone rubber mould is created, the material in liquid form is poured into the mould. Any air trapped between the material and the mould is removed by creating a vacuum. The mould is then cured in an oven after which it is cut, and the model removed from it.
